Santa's Helpers

Winter 2005-06

"I am a deployed Marine in Iraq. I won't be home for the holidays. I have two sons. I would really appreciate it if ‘Santa' would send them a letter. Thank you so very much for what you are doing."

"Please send a letter from Santa to our little girl, Andrea. She has had a rough year because her father is in the Army National Guard currently serving in Iraq. She has been a very good little girl..."

These were among the many touching requests sent last year from loving parents to Little Letters, a service that writes hand-printed "real" letters from Santa to children across the U.S.

The letter-writing staff - moms and grandmothers, English and Spanish - is gearing up for Christmas with a new website, www.santalittleletters.com. Or send your request to Little Letters, P.O. Box 177, Paw Paw, IL 61353. Enclose $6 postage and handling fee for each letter requested, and make sure to include the child's name and full address.
