National Credit Counseling Agency Partners with Armed Forces Radio to Offer Personal Finance Education Worldwide

InCharge Education Foundation Broadcasts Military Money Minute Radio Segments to Military Personnel Around the Globe

(ORLANDO, Fla.) February 2, 2004 - InCharge® Education Foundation, a personal finance education organization, has partnered with Armed Forces Radio Network to offer personal finance tips and advice to military personnel worldwide.

Military Money Minute radio broadcasts, which began airing January 19, 2004, are heard six days a week on military bases and commissaries throughout the world. The one-minute personal finance segments air five times a day and are heard throughout the United States and Europe as well as in countries such as Korea and Japan, with a potential audience reach of 600,000 military personnel per day.

"We are very excited to be able to extend personal finance education to our military service men and women around the globe," said Rebecca Stiehl, president of InCharge® Education Foundation for Personal Finance Education and Research, Inc. and executive editor of Military Money™ magazine. "We understand that America's service members hav many financial concerns and through Military Money Minutes, we hope to impart education and sound advice to them and their families."

In addition to Military Money Minutes, InCharge Education Foundation recently partnered with the Department of Defense to distribute copies of Military Money to military personnel. The free magazine offers personal finance tips and advice specifically to military service members and their families, and is distributed to defense commissaries, credit unions and family support centers across the country.

Many of the Military Minute segments are related to articles seen in Military Money magazine. Recent segments have focused on payday loans, identity theft, easing the stress of deployment and tax benefits for active duty military personnel.
